Posted on: August 5th, 2010 Tarantino Rumored To Tackle THE SHADOW

Now this is one that I’m taking with a grain of salt… but oh what a delicious, succulent piece of salt it is.
Pajba is reporting that Quentin Tarantino is in discussions with Fox to direct and possibly co-write another big screen version of The Shadow, a property that has flourished in many mediums, last seen in theaters with Alec Baldwin’s film from 1994 (to tell you the truth, I really dug that movie, though I seem to be in the minority).
The film rights left Sony’s hands and moved over to Fox earlier on the year, with Sam Raimi, who had long been attached to direct (and in my opinion so perfectly suited for the film) passed it on to 30 Days of Night director David Slade. If what Pajiba reports about Tarantino is true then color me excited.
At this point this is everything we know about the next Shadow film, and let’s face it, Tarantino taking the reigns really is a long shot. Imagine just how awesome his version would be though.
