THE HOBBIT Shoots in 3 Months

hobbitShooting of the upcoming films The Hobbit, have been bumped up from a “when the hell are they going to make these movies” to June of this year.

“The Hobbit’s two films, start shooting in New Zealand in June. Filming will take over a year. Casting in Los Angelos, New York City and London has started. The script too proceeds. The first draft is crammed with old and new friends, again on a quest in Middle Earth.” taken From Ian McKellans website.

The film is set to be shot over the period of one year, and split into two parts. Peter Jackson will produce the films, with WETA studio’s providing the effects, and the films will be directed by GOD Guillermo Del Toro.
