Posted on: February 8th, 2010 Tim Robbins Joins GREEN LANTERN Cast

Tim Robbins has joined the cast of Martin Campbell’s Green Lantern. Robbins will play Senator Hammond, the father of main villain, the psychic powered Hector Hammond.

Robbins joins the expanding cast of Ryan Reynolds (Hal Jordan/Green Lantern), Blake Lively (Carol Ferris) and Peter Sarsgaard (Hector Hammond). Mark Strong is rumored to be in talks to join the cast as future-villain Sinestro.

This comes hot off the press from THR (via IESB).

Green Lantern begins shooting in March.
