Posted on: January 27th, 2010 GREEN LANTERN Concept Art Reveals Corps Members
When you think about a Green Lantern film, it really is kind of hard to imagine just what everything will look like. The universe of the Lantern Corps is so rooted in the fantastic and the alien, that you can see how it would be easy to cheese it up. How can the green suits look serious? How can the weird alien races appear believable?
Some concept art was found online, which I’m hoping is legitimate design for the film, as it looks amazing and has bridged that aforementioned gap. A Green Lantern film can be pulled off, and if this work is the real deal, then we may just see it happen.
Take a look.

How awesome are those? Kudos to the artist for making Tomar-Re actually look badass. I always thought he was kind of goofy in the books, what with the weird chicken head and all.
I really can’t wait to see some official designs for the film. Hopefully soon.
What do you think?
