Confirmed in 3D: Zombieland 2 and Jackass 3
Talks of a sequel to Zombieland began the very weekend the film was released and the box office began cleaning up. While director Reuben Fleischer hasn’t shied away from discussing Paramount’s interest, Variety has now confirmed that the project is officially in development – in the third dimension. Ugh. While I loved Zombieland, and am excited to see the a sequel, 3D is not going to sell me on it – it was the characters that made the film what it is, not the zombie-action, so why bother amping it up in 3D? Groan. Hiss. Pessimism. Regardless, director Fleischer is back on board with writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Stars Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg are currently in talks to return.
If one sequel with the needless addition of 3D isn’t enough for you, Variety has also confirmed a third Jackass film, you guessed it, in 3d. Again, while I welcome another Jackass (c’mon the first two are F-U-N) what on Earth is 3D going to accomplish? “Wow did you see that guy poop! The depth! The dimension!” I’m assuming the regular jackasses will return, and according to director Jeff Tremaine shooting locations will include Knob Lick, Kentucky, Mianus, Connecticut, Fukang, China, Buttzville, New Jersey and Gayville, South Dakota.
Both films are slated for release in 2010.

ombieland was awesome, though I would see a sequel, I really don’t think that it nescary, I would much rather see something along the lines of some sort of TV show, expanding on the rules, I do however understand that in order to do something like that would require the actors to downgtrade to Television, but I can dream can’t I
