Amazing Back To The Future Video Game Mod!

This is incredible… Someone, an avid gamer and technological genius, has gone and created a mod for the game Crysis that allows you to drive the time-travelling Delorean from the Back to the Future films. What’s even cooler than just driving around in this piece of pop-culture, is that you cant get her up to 88mph and time travel! Watch the clip below, it features sounds and effects straight outta the movie. Love it. Gotta have it.

Note that this does not mean we’ll be getting a BTTF video game, much to the chagrin of fans worldwide. One would hope that this, and the reaction to it, could spark a flame under the butts of those with the power to make a game with Marty McFly & Co.

You’ll remember something similar happened back in 2006 with the Ghostbusters property; developers Zootfly went ahead and began development on a first-person Ghostbusters game. When footage of that hit the net, the reaction was amazing, and although the road to completion wasn’t without its bumps, we eventually got a (reportedly) really good game.
