Ok, so I finally had a chance to play Borderlands this weekend. I had been excited about it since the first time I read anything about it. Here is how it went down:

Ok, so I popped the game in and cracked open a beer. The first thing I noticed was that the graphics sucked, thats cool with me though.

Then the I noticed how much personality the characters had, and I was quick to decide that my first assumption of the graphics was way wrong. The nitty-gritty graphics really seamed to work for this game.

About 3 hours (and several beers later) I had officially decided that I hated the game. I was very frustrated, and felt like I had made no progress. Needless to say, I felt that I had wasted my money.

I woke up the next morning and to my dismay all I could think about was Borderlands. At was at this point I realized that I was hooked.

In conclusion, I now have a new favorite game. I have yet to play on live but am really digging the split-screen story mode.
