August 25th, 2009 at 12:00 pmAside: I always find it interesting which particular actors become the de facto muses of certain directors (ie. Johnny Depp’s indentured servitude with Tim Burton). In this case, Nolan seems to really like what Cillian Murphy and good ol’ Michael Caine bring to the table. I happen to think that Murphy is a great actor and made a great Scarecrow (not to mention his formidable infected-fighting skills in 28 Days Later).
