		<description>Too bad about your last system. You won&#039;t have to wait long either since it&#039;ll be out September 1st.

 I just saw that Joystick put together a nice chart comparing the 7 (yes seven) different PS3 SKU&#039;s. Too bad there&#039;s no backwards compatibility. Not that people use it a ton, but with the reliability of the last two generations of systems, it&#039;s always reassuring to have a back up plan to play your library of older games if one system craps out.

What&#039;s the big deal if it doesn&#039;t offer alt OS installs? What would people use it for?  Home brew? Piracy? I&#039;m a bit ignorant when it comes to some aspects of the PS3.</description>

All I&#039;m hearing that&#039;s negative (outside of the aesthetics) is that it needs a stand and it doesn&#039;t offer alt OS compatibilities?  Certainly not anything that&#039;s going to keep me from purchasing it.
