I think you may be on to something Dale, with the whole RDJ scenario, I would love to see Cuba do a comeback similiar to that.

Liking Rat Race was the one thing I wanted to comment on as well. It’s a great sunday afternoon tv movie. Cuba’s not exactly the best part, but he’s still fun.

I think he needs this dark time, then he’ll hit the screen older with this past baggage ala Robert Downey Jr. and have his second wind. He’s got the chops, just not the rolls.

I was sittingo n this idea all during tax time, and approached Ryan with it about two weeks ago.

Rat Race is one of those guilty pleasures of mine, i really liked it and tha fact that it was filmed in and around my hometown makes it that much better. I loathed Boat Trip, I really thought the concept was good, but the execution was terrible and I did not laugh as much as i thought i would and i found the jokes to be recyled from similiar films.

I don’t doubt Cuba’s comedic ability, in fact i think he can do comedy well, the problem is the films he has chosen to use as his platform have not been the greatest.

Wow, this is a great idea for a post. I’m always wondering randomly what ever happened to a lot of actors/actresses that I used to know and love. So bravo, genius idea.

I might be the only one, but I actually really enjoyed Rat Race. I thought it was relatively funny, and it had Mr Bean! His character was awesome and very funny. I think Cuba is very good in Comedy, and he should do more of those in the future, just to build up some good will in his career and perhaps even make a comeback. Boat Trip wasn’t that bad either.

I hope good things for Cuba in the future.
