LatinoReview.com broke yesterday that one of their trusted sources at Warner Bros. is pursuing a certain heart-throb to wear the emerald ring as Hal Jordan in the upcoming Green Lantern flick. Who, you ask?

Ryan “The Gos” Gosling, that’s who.

I dig this casting, I really do. I think Gosling is one of the best young actors working in the industry today, and I think he would do the role justice (pun fully intended). Let’s hope he seriously conisders the role when and if WB approaches him. Now all we need is Hugo Weaving as Sinestro, my idea for the script to be filmed, and we can have the perfect GL film.

But hey, Warner Bros., if Gosling passes, how about giving this guy a call…
